5 Quick Website Updates you can do in 10 Minutes

You don’t need a website redesign to make your school website feel fresh.

Sometimes a few small updates an make a big difference. If you have 10 minutes, try one or two of these:

• Check your contact details – make sure your phone number, email address and office hours are current.
• Update your homepage images – a fresh photo or two can instantly make your website feel more current.
• Add a recent news item – share something happening at your school. It doesn’t need to be long — a photo and a few sentences is plenty.
• Check your important documents – make sure frequently accessed policies, handbooks, forms and newsletters are the latest versions.
• Remove outdated information – old events, notices and information from previous years can quickly make a website look neglected.

You don’t have to update everything at once.

A few minutes here and there can keep your website looking current and make it easier for families to find the information they need.
