We’ve just added a fresh new folder of images to our website, ready for you to use in your articles and eNews. They’re colourful, eye-catching, and perfect for adding a little extra flair to your content.
What’s new this time? Every image now comes with credit to the original Canva artist.
Why We’re Giving Credit
While Canva makes it easy to use images without needing to credit the creator, we’ve decided it’s important to start recognising the talented artists behind the work. These creatives put a lot of effort into designing the visuals we all use, and giving them a little shoutout is a small but meaningful way to say thanks.
It also sets a good example. By giving credit where it’s due, we’re promoting respect for creative work and encouraging others to do the same.
What You’ll Find in the New Folder
Easy-to-use images – perfect for school news, blog posts, or anything else you’re writing.
Properly credited – all images include artist attribution where needed.
Updated regularly – we’ll keep adding new visuals over time.
A Small Change That Feels Right
This move is all about supporting creatives, doing the right thing, and helping you keep your content looking great. If you have any feedback or there’s a type of image you’d love to see added, just let us know!

We’d love for you to start using the new image folder going forward, and we kindly ask that you remove the older image bank we previously provided. This helps keep everything fresh, consistent, and properly credited.

Just a quick update about your school’s Google listing — from April 30, 2025, Google has removed all reviews and star ratings for general education schools (that includes primary and secondary schools around the world).
Why the change? It’s mainly to prevent unhelpful, prank-style, or misleading reviews that don’t really reflect what your school is all about. Going forward, people won’t be able to leave new reviews or ratings, and any existing ones have now been taken down.
You don’t need to do anything unless your Google profile has been set to the wrong category. If your school isn’t listed as a general education school the reviews will still be present after April 30, however as soon as you change the profile, the existing reviews will be removed along with the ability to leave reviews.
If you’re not sure or need help checking, google your school name. If you are listed as a school - there's nothing you need to do! If you are not, please feel free to reach out to helpdesk@updat-ed.com.au
