Apologies for the blunt headline. But if you've taken any interest in cyber security you'll know that it's a nasty world out there. And you're exposed.

Over the break, we did a review of all the USER logins and found that only 25% of all those registered were actually being used. With those stats, you're 4 times more exposed than you need be.

There are reasons for so many unused passwords. Staff having left being one, but the biggest appears to be, "let's setup logins for all the leadership (example) so everyone can publish." Good intentions for sure but take some time to review who your USERS are.

Our advice, if you're unsure if someone needs access, delete their logins. If they are in fact requiring access, then they'll contact you if they can't login.

And if it's been awhile since you last changed your password, we encourage you to do so. Now.

Every Tuesday, at 12pm EST our trusty Sinead will be hosting a quick PD on one element to do with your website.  The session will run for maximum 20 minutes.  The first sesssion will be "Adding a PDF to a page" and will be on Tuesday 26th February.

3.  PDs each Term

Every term we will run between 2 - 4 PDs for our schools.  Ranging from Beginner Basics, to more advanced features, eNews and Communication/Marketing strategies.  Look out for the Term 1 dates later in this eNews issue.

4.  Personalised training options

If you require training specific for your school, contact us to arrange a quote for either online training, or onsite training (Victorian based schools).

Term 1 PD Dates are locked in All PD's are free.  All you need to do is register to the PD you wish to attend and login on the day with a cup of tea/coffee to sit back and learn some new tricks, or see some new features.

WEDNESDAY 7th FEBRUARY 12.00pm (9.00am WST)
Beginner Basics - a one hour session that will run you through the basics of maintaining your website including - loading pdfs, images, creating new pages and adding dates to your calendar. Running time approx 1 hour.  Suitable for users that have attended the initial sponsor-ed training but need a refresher.

New Look Web Themes - This session will run you through the 4 new themes that have recently been launched.  Sit back while we talk you through some of the features in the 4 new themes.  Running time: 30 minutes

eNews - New year, time to start thinking about trialling the sponsor-ed eNews system. Create visually stunning newsletters with ease, from inside your website. Contact helpdesk@sponsor-ed.com.au to start your free trial, then join us for a 1 hour PD on how to use eNews to its full potential. Suitable for school's who have not yet used the eNews system.
